Arizona, Monument Valley and Lake Powell

We left Mexican Hat to follow San Juan River for a while.

A huge crow watched us pass from Utah to Arizona.

We had lunch at the Golden Sands Restaurant in Kayenta, Arizona. These tablecloths apppear to be felted.

Artwork on skins.
Indian corn varieties once grown.

Historical photographs.

Many were waiting for a street parade as we left town.

Layered rocks wear with fascinating results.

Coal fired electricity plant as you approach Page.

Page is a small, sprawling, sophisticated, tourist city with many churches.

It was never thought the Colorado River could be tamed.

The Carl Hayden visitor centre children were sworn in as junior rangers. It had a great display on the dam construction.

Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam

Glen Canyon Bridge

Page is very spread out.
